And the final item on this list is your toothbrush holder. Thinking that traces of fecal matter could be landing on the same surface that houses your toothbrush may sound like a nightmare, but that’s exactly what studies have shown can happen. Do not let yourself be a part of that statistic! Instead, place your toothbrush away from the toilet, perhaps under the sink, and be sure to maintain good hand washing hygiene.
